Minnesota Reading Corps is the Minnesota branch of Ampact, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching children valuable skills that they need to succeed. We help children with their reading skills, while other branches concern math and early learning.
Kids with good reading skills by the end of third grade are in prime position to be good students for the rest of their lives, but 50% of students are below the average reading level. We train volunteers to be tutors who can make a difference in a child's school career.
